Description
Buntweb Filter is an AJAX faceted filter for the OpenCart 4.x catalog. Product list, facet counters and pagination update without a page reload.
- AJAX filtering — product list, counters and pagination update in place, no reload.
- Filter by price (dual range slider), attributes (multi-value), options with colour swatches, in-stock and brand.
- Faceted counters — live counts per value, honouring the other active filters (within-group OR, across-group AND).
- Active-filter chips with one-click removal, reset and result counter.
- Mobile off-canvas panel with a filter button and active-count badge.
- Server-side filtering — the filtered listing is also rendered server-side; bots and no-JS users see the correct set (SEO-safe).
- SEO landing pages for filter combinations: editable H1, meta title/description/keywords, top/bottom text (CKEditor), robots override, canonical, sitemap flag — all from the admin.
- XML sitemap feed of the SEO filter pages with hreflang + x-default.
- Internal linking (“see also”) between filter pages of a category.
- Multilanguage-aware — active languages, URL prefixes and hreflang are resolved from the store (
oc_language), nothing is hard-coded.
Requirements: OpenCart 4.1.x (PHP 8.1+, MySQLi), SEO URLs enabled.

Wir betreiben einen mittelgroßen Shop mit rund 1.400 Artikeln und die Kunden haben sich vorher oft durch die Kategorien geklickt, ohne zu finden was sie suchen. Seit dem Filter sind die Absprünge auf den Kategorieseiten spürbar zurückgegangen. Die Einrichtung hat etwas gedauert, weil ich zuerst die Attribute sauber aufräumen musste – aber das lag an unseren Altdaten, nicht am Plugin. Was mich überzeugt hat: die gefilterten Seiten funktionieren auch ohne JavaScript, Google indexiert sie sauber. Support hat auf eine Rückfrage zur Sitemap innerhalb eines Tages geantwortet.

Bought this mainly for the SEO landing pages and it does exactly what it says. The faceted counts updating live as you tick boxes feels much more modern than the default OpenCart layered nav we had before. One small thing I had to sort out was the module position in the category layout, but that’s documented and took two minutes once I read it properly. Mobile off-canvas panel is smooth on the phones I tested. Would’ve liked a couple more colour-swatch presets out of the box, hence not a big deal but worth mentioning. Solid work.
